Remove a group member

As a Group Administrator, you can remove a member from a group. (Superusers and microsite administrators can also remove group members in the same way.)


To get started, log in to OER Commons and find your group. 

  1. In your group, select Members.

  2. Make sure the view is the large profile photos, not the list. It’s not possible to remove a member from the list view. Select the circle icon for the large profile photo view.

  3. Click the small black X next to the member’s name. 



  1. A message displays  to confirm the deletion: You have just deleted [member name], with an UNDO button that you can select if desired.
